Jen’s experiences as a person, student, parent, homeschool administrator, Pre-K- undergraduate science instructor, curriculum and program developer, community activist, and non-profit educational advocate led her to the conclusion that educators should attempt to collaboratively create learning environments within diverse and supportive communities, empower and inspire each person to pursue their own interests, skills, and talents to optimize and actualize their unique potential (in whatever situation we find ourselves) in sustainable, healthy, equitable ways throughout life.
